House Medical Billing Service LLC will also provide the much-needed Provider Support you need in terms of your own professional credentials and relationships with insurance companies you do business with or would like to in the future.
Credentialing Support — Providers who plan on becoming contracted with insurance companies or who already are contracted need to have a current set of credentials, resume and CAQH profile. HMBS will assist in keeping your information accurate and up-to-date. When your CAQH profile is current you are sending a message to the insurance companies that you are a trusted provider, how to contact you and where you can be found. Insurance payers use your CAQH info to keep their own data current and to refer new patients to your practice.
Credentialing Maintenance - Opting in on this service allows HMBS to respond to any and all insurance company requests for updated information on a regular basis. Many insurance companies and CAQH.org send required quarterly requests to attest that your information is still accurate and HMBS will step in and respond to these requests on your behalf and submit or upload any updated documents required.
Contracting and Network Participation — Per your request, we will assist you in communicating your interest in participation, enrolling for the first time, updating your credentials or practice details and/or terminating your enrollment with any and all insurance companies. New enrollment requests are processed by the insurance company based on need and meeting special requirements set forth by the managed care company or government agency. This process assists you, the provider, in being more visible to potential new patients, secure participation and reimbursement rates from insurance companies and be part of their network as a Preferred Provider
